Hit Me With Your Best Shot is my first book. I also publish 1-Up MegaZine, a handmade art zine about game culture. My work has been featured in Icon, The Face, National Public Radio Marketplace, XLR8R Magazine, Giant Robot, Edge, GameNow, and G4 Media. I’ve written for Wired, Computer Gaming World, and Nickelodeon Magazine. I used to write a column for VH1 Gamebreak called You Only Live Twice: Adventures in Game Culture. I have an MA in Media and Film Studies from The New School and BA from the University of California, Davis. I’m currently obsessed with Rock Band, Gossip Girl, and Uniqlo. And I still want to try out for American Idol.
I’m available for youth culture branding, naming strategy as well as writing about video game culture and music writing.
